If you are looking for a place to get
married in Mexico, look no further than Isla Mujeres. It is so
beautiful and romantic. My husband and I had never been to the
island but we really wanted a location that is more intimate and
not as touristy as Cancun or Playa del Carmen. Isla Mujeres was
perfect! We highly recommend this location and we highly
recommend that you contact event planner Juliette Franze. She
was amazing to work with! Extremely professional and her
experience really made the planning a lot of fun rather a highly
stressful situation. If you tell her what kind of budget you're
on and an idea of what you want your special day to be like,
Juliette will make it happen! She works with the best wedding
vendors in the area. As for a location, I highly recommend Villa
Rolandi. It is incredible! It's a bit more expensive than other
locations we looked at in Isla but in the end it was absolutely
worth it and still a lot less expensive than a wedding in the
states! The property is breathtaking and the service 5 Star!
Juliette also recommended florist Vanessa Jaimes and I'm so glad
she did; her designs were elegant, sophisticated and
exceptionally beautiful! Same goes for makeup artist/hair
stylist Anne Marie Cote and her assistant Ursula from Make Me
Beautiful Bride! I received so many compliments on my hair and
makeup it felt amazing! On top of their talent these ladies are
so incredibly nice and fun! My only advice to other brides is
this: if you decide to book with Anne Marie and Ursula please be
courteous to them by being on time. They are in high demand and
it's only fair that you give them as much time as possible to
make you look your best and it's only fair to the other brides
who've also paid for services. The day of our appointment went
smoothly but the bride before me was late and Anne Marie was
worried she would not finish me on time. Our minister Sabina was
so sweet and really made our spiritual ceremony a unique
experience. Finally if you plan to marry here I also recommend
that you hire a mariachi for the reception! The gentlemen who
played at our wedding were terrific and so much fun! They really
made our night!
Overall our experience on a scale from 1-10 was a 20! Our
friends and family had a wonderful time! Juliette is terrific!
We can't wait to go back!

To say our wedding was amazing is an
understatement and that's all thanks to you. The entire planning
process was easy AND exciting. You have an amazing team of
venders (from the hairdresser, florist, DJ, photographer,
guitarist, to Danielle who put together an unbelievable welcome
basket for our guests ). You all love what you do and it showed
throughout the entire wedding weekend. We always heard that the
few days leading up to the wedding is often stressful for the
bride and groom. We, however, were able to relax and enjoy the
beauty of Isla Mujeres for the 5 days leading up to the wedding
because we knew that you had everything under control. Our
wedding was absolutely breathtaking and better than we could
have ever have imagined. All our guests were in awe with how
magical the weekend turned out and are still talking about the
details. We can't wait to return and celebrate many more future
events

Juliette,
What can I say? The entire experience and weekend was above and
beyond anything I could have imagined! You and Marcela were so
amazing and I cannot thank you enough for all the time, energy,
and hard work that you put into making our wedding the best day
of our lives! I have not stopped thinking about it and my
friends and family have called me all day to talk about how much
fun they had and how beautiful it was!
Sabina Tamm (Minister) was just amazing! I am so happy that she
was the woman who married us! She was so perfect and I loved the
way she spoke and everything she said! Alan (DJ).... what a
sweetheart and what a wonderful DJ! He was excellent and played
all the songs that I requested! He was GREAT! The wait staff, OH
MY GOD! They were the most amazing servers I have EVER had!
There was not one moment that all guests were not pampered or
taken care of! They were absolutely fabulous! AND Anne-Marie,
the makeup and hair artiste.... where do I begin? She was the
most wonderful person! I have never looked or felt so beautiful
in my entire life! And I am not just saying that! She was beyond
amazing! Delia (Assistant Manager Villa Rolandi) was so kind and
such a huge help in planning the rooms and helping everyone
organize everything!
So in conclusion, Erik and I could not be happier than the way
everything went and are so grateful that you were our wedding
planner! Juliette, we will absolutely be back and if you ever
come to NY, please let me know, as I would love to take you to
dinner! You are so wonderful and you will see us again at
Rolandi! We might try to stay a few nights for our honeymoon! We
are going to start planning it next week. I will let you know!

We chose Juliette and Papillon Weddings
& Events to coordinate our February 2010 wedding. We chose Playa
Norte, specifically Ixchel Beach Hotel, as the location, since
we had been there a few times before. Juliette was very prompt
in her email replies during the planning stages and willing to
make any changes I wanted to create the perfect day tailored
just for us. She was on time for every appointment - a rarity in
Mexico! She has great connections with Ixchel and the amazing
concierge, Debby. She makes everything effortless and seamless
for us. Our guests commented that it was the best wedding
they've ever been to. As a bonus, we saw her a few days later
and, on her own time, she helped us with a travel situation we
were having. She knows weddings and Isla inside & out and
suggested places to go, things to do, etc.. I am fairly picky
and our experience was flawless. I highly recommend Juliette and

Where to begin? Working with Juliette
was, simply, fantastic. She knows the island intimately, pays
careful attention to detail, and is willing to go above and
beyond to make sure that any request or desire is granted.
We met with her in advance and spent time explaining the type of
ceremony and overall event we wanted. She made sure to
understand it completely and to come back to us with options --
but also with advice that we avoid something that just wouldn't
work well on Isla. Our ceremony was a fist for the island (Hindu
ceremony) but Juliette made sure that it went off without a
hitch. We were able to plan out the specifics of the ceremony
and the days before and after the wedding with ease. She is
great at keeping in touch via email and keeping you at ease
about the details even if you are at a distance.
With guests from all over the world including India, Japan,
France, Spain, and the entire USA; meals ranging from vegetarian
to steak and even a kids menu; and guests staying all over the
island, it was quite a logistics exercise, but she handled it
with aplomb.
She manages within budgets precisely and is also very upfront
about what can and can't happen and how to adlib. And she is
able to work with the local hotels and restaurants to make sure
your event is what you imagined.
Her associates (flowers, makeup) were exceptional, and all the
more impressive since they had never seen an Indian wedding
before but managed to make it all look perfect.
Friends and family still speak fondly of the event and I've
enthusiastically recommended Juliette to other couples and even
to companies for corporate events.
You won't regret working with her. Just know what you want and
she'll make it happen.

My husband and I were absolutely AMAZED
with the entire ceremony. As were our family, friends and
wedding party...not to mention the immense compliments we got
from the onlookers and passer-bys. It was not only beautiful but
incredibly romantic, personable and beyond magical!! It was
everything we could have hoped for, more than we ever dreamed
of. The sunset over our arch was perfect and the ocean tied
everything together perfectly. The set up was exactly what we
asked for, the torches and roses just made it feel like we were
in some kind of exotic romance novel. It was truly our DREAM
wedding and you gave that to us. And not only did you make it
happen but you made it happen without ANY bumps in the road or
issues, everything went very smoothly. We were overly impressed
and we have been referring you to everyone and anyone who wants
a destination wedding and even trying to convince people who
haven't decided on a wedding theme. Not to mention, our pictures
were perfect, exactly what we wanted, we have gotten nothing but
compliments for the entire event. We are ALL so very impressed.

From the moment we met Juliette, we knew
she was the person who was going to help us plan our wedding.
She understood who we were and what kind of wedding we wanted to
have.
Throughout the entire planning process, Juliette was
incredible. She was patient, solution-based and enthusiastic.
Not to mention, her staff, vendors and hotel contacts were all
incredible. We are so grateful that we had her in our corner. We

Juliette was amazing from A to Z. She
was not cheap, granted – but well worth it. First of all, she
managed to plan my whole wedding in three weeks. And I asked a
lot from her ! Tables, chairs, canopy, lounge furniture,
oversized candles, cake, centerpieces, audio equipment,
lighting, make-up and hair… all this of course with very precise
ideas. The only thing I already came with was my minister !!!
And she was very flexible – we changed the table sizes at the
last minute, I downsized my cake, all was possible.
She was very professional at handling everything. It's simple :
once I explained to her what I wanted, I let her in control.
Everything was awesome and conform with my expectations. You can
check out in my pics my centerpieces, the coffee-tulip-roses
bouquet for the bar, the cake, the canopy… I let her take care
of all these details. And I did not do A THING on my wedding
day. Nothing.
We had our pre-wedding meeting on the Thursday, together with
the hotel planner, the hotel sales manager, the head-waiter and
the chef. We discussed everything – my plans for the big day,
the back-up plan for rain, where to set-up the lounges, the
tikki torches, the color of the post-wedding cocktail, where to
put the tables, how to take care of the place cards with the
wind… All the details. I even asked her to print some small
flags for my cake topper – I had forgotten them at home. She
came back on the Friday with Anne-Marie for my hair and make-up
trials and we finished the last details. Then she arrived at 1pm
on the Saturday, and started to take care of all the
installations. After installing everything, she got changed and
took care of my guests while I was finishing getting ready. From
watching over the bottles opening (for corkage tracking…) to
ensuring the kids ate when they were hungry, or moving the
lounges from the beach to the dance floor side – she took care
of everything and I did not have to even lift my pinky. She even
added great touches – put some rose petals on the sand tray for
the place card, or organized the guest-frame-signing table with
the toss bouquet and the sand frame… that was awesome.
Hiring Juliette is probably the best decision I made in the
entire planning.

On Thursday, March 25th, thirty-three of our family and friends
descended upon Isla Mujeres to join us for an extended weekend
of sun, fun, camaraderie – and our wedding.
Great weather, fantastic venues and, most importantly, Juliette
Franzé and Papillon Weddings, made it an enjoyable and memorable
experience for all involved.
My wife, Julie, and I are very grateful for all the able
assistance rendered by Juliette and her staff in the planning
and execution of all our wedding festivities. Juliette is
well-connected with the various venues, vendors and entertainers
and every one of her suggested options turned out to be exactly
as described and what we were looking for. She is very
responsive in communications (communication via email was
extremely efficient and minimized the need for phone calls). Her
attention to detail showed and every individual aspect of the
wedding weekend came off on time and exactly as planned.
Juliette worked with us to develop a budget and helped us stick
to it.
Juliette helped us make transportation arrangements for our
guests (transfer from Cancun airport to private dock, private
boat to Isla, and golf carts for our guests’ use while on the
island). She arranged for the placement of gifts bags in the
various hotel rooms (Hotel Secreto and Hotel NaBalam). Events
included: tequila tasting party at La Adelita Tequileria
followed by dinner at Rolandis, “rehearsal dinner” at Sunset
Grill, traditional Mayan blessing on the beach, wedding at Casa
Ixchel, and wedding reception and dinner at Mango Café. Juliette
was instrumental in helping us choose venues and her
recommendations for entertainment (i.e., band and firedancers at
rehearsal dinner, mariachis at wedding, and guitarist at
reception) were ideal. She worked well with the florist for
wedding decorations.
Our wedding surpassed our high expectations and Juliette was a
major reason for that. We highly recommend her.
